The iPhone X is a truly amazing phone, the addition of the new innovative features give the phone a great new look and use. Here we go through why we think the iPhone X is one of the best phones in today's market.

So, you might be wondering, is this just another Samsung Galaxy S8 copy? Although from the described features, the looks and functions you would think so. However, you would be wrong. From first holding the phone you can definitely feel that it is very premium, the display going from top to bottom adds the feel that the phone is much bigger. It is actually smaller than the iPhone 8 Plus which was release in September. The use of the 5.8" screen adds a whole new element to the design especially as it feels much brighter.

On the back of the phone it is noticeable that the camera is now vertical oppose to horizontal like previous iPhones. This doesn't really change anything in terms on camera quality but it is something to note. The phone does however come with dual optical image stabilisation unlike any other model.

The front camera now boasts to be a 'True depth camera' giving the phone many possibilities (although it is still 7MP). This new camera allows for features such as portrait mode and portrait lighting (beta) all of which can improve those much needed selfies. Have you ever though about having those emojis come to life? Now you can, with the true depth camera it is possible to have you face tracked and turned into an emoji so you can send it to your friends when they need cheering up.

With the removal of Touch ID, it is very important that you can unlock this phone with high end security but still quickly. Face ID is the solution. It has the ability to map out you face and then read it to securely unlock your phone at just a glance. In our tests, we have found that it is hard to fool the camera however if you do have a twin or a look a like it is possible. It takes hardly any time at all to unlock, it feels instant. Sometimes however it has been noticed not to recognise you meaning this and Touch ID would have been much preferred.

This phones also comes with its own specially adapted version of iOS 11 to comply with the design changes. As shown by a video from apple, there are numerous gestures which replace the home button. These do actually feel more natural and easier to use. Siri has been relocated from the home button to the power button, with the phone naturally in yours hands it isn't too much of a stretch to reach but you can still also use the command 'Hey Siri' to wake.

We have noticed one issue though, the shiny metal band which runs around the outside of the phone can be scratched quite easily if not protected. After just one day of use we noticed a little mark on it with rose concerns to whether it would last. The use of a case though can easily solve that.

Always check before making a purchase to ensure you won't be a victim of fraud.
